Position: Part-time 20+ (flexibility to work more hours as needed)
Compensation: $25.00 per hour (for 36 weeks/contractual services)
Job Description/Scope:
Broward County Library’s (BCL) Community Engagement department is seeking a Project Coordinator to work alongside the Project Manager and project team to implement an exciting grant-funded project called Virtual AARLCC. Virtual AARLCC is a pilot program designed to expand access to BCL’s African American Research Library and Cultural Center’s (AARLCC) unique Special Collection through the utilization of 3D modeling and Augmented Reality.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Requires two years of experience in project management, 3D modeling, training development, web
design/development.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Experience working with rare artifacts
Experience working in libraries or museums
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Ability to work well independently with limited direction and supervision
Works well with a team
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
