The successful candidate will collaborate with their colleagues in the music library and Jacobs School of Music to establish strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices for the long-term access, management, and preservation of music library audiovisual materials in all their forms. They may also initiate or participate in the grant-writing process for specific projects. Additionally, they will participate in the ongoing process of providing access to the content produced by the Media Digitization and Preservation Initiative (https://mdpi.iu.edu/), a university-wide digitization and preservation project that included audio and video materials from the music library. The position reports to the Head of Music Library Cataloging.
