Youth Instructor & Research Specialist-Bay Cty Public (FL)

The Bay County Public Library, Panama City,  is seeking a full-time Youth Instructor & Research Specialist to work in our outstanding Youth Services Department.  If you have the enthusiasm, creativity and energy to teach and inspire children, especially school-aged children and teens, and want to work in a public library – then this is the place for you.

Panama City is located in the beautiful Florida Panhandle, halfway between Pensacola and Tallahassee on the Gulf of Mexico.  The links below will give you an idea of what life has to offer here.


Qualified candidates will have a Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA Accredited Library School or equivalent education, a minimum of two years of experience working with children, and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
