WCTV-TV, the #1 Station in Tallahassee is seeking a full-time Multi-Media Journalist. Our Multi-Media Journalists are responsible for researching, writing, and covering general assignment stories for the Station’s different platforms.

Duties include: story development and production, shooting & editing multiple stories for WCTV’s daily newscasts and top rated website, as well as other duties as assigned by news management. Qualified candidates must be able to operate portable live units – ‘one man’ Live Shots from the field. Knowledge of south Georgia or north Florida is preferred, as well as an ability to ‘own’ social media.

Requirements: BS/BA in Journalism or Communications. Computer literacy, including newsroom computer systems. Videography and non-linear editing experience required. Possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurability. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and to sit, walk or stand for long periods. Schedule may vary and includes nights/weekends.
