Department of Athletics – Digital Media
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies on-line, in social media venues and through written and video content that fuels the departments efforts to engage fans and positively portray Seminole athletics utilizing the digital media and sports information staffs to implement those strategies.
- Manage the direction of the department’s official website coordinating written content, video content and graphics to boost engagement, time on the site and traffic to the site.
- Maintain the department’s official website through the Titan Content Management System and create additional web pages that require coding skills or ability to use Adobe Dreamweaver.
- Monitor the athletic department’s on-line and social presence.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a appropriate area and two years appropriate experience or a high school education and appropriate education/experience equal to six years.
- Knowledge of web design and development.
- Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
- Knowledge of applicable computer software and operating systems.
- Experience with or knowledge of marketing research techniques and tools.
- Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
Pay Plan
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
