OPS Senior Database Analyst, Florida Department of Health, Tallahassee

The Florida Department of Health’s Information Technology Office has paying opportunities for one or two students who have done well in their SQL Programming and/or Database Administration classes and are familiar with SQL Server 2005 (or later).  Other important skills for these positions include:  knowledge of SQL Server and SSIS packages, an interest in gaining work experience in information technology, good organizational skills, attention to detail, an ability to prioritize tasks, and good interpersonal/communication skills.

Individuals would learn what it takes to provide operational database services within state government and earn an income while attending school.  The minimum pay is $20.91 per hour (or higher depending on experience) and would require 15 to 25 hours per week of their time (depending on their schedule and availability).  However, the opportunity is there if one individual is interested in working 40 hours per week. The title of the position is OPS Sr. Data Base Analyst.
