Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY
Provides marketing support for EMC’s award-winning customer communications management product, xPression. The ideal candidate will understand the customer communications and enterprise content management market segments, and will be both creative and highly motivated.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Coordinate across all functional units including product development, product management, professional services, and sales to manage product lifecycle and go-to-market strategies.
· Plan and execute product launches, core positioning and messaging, go-to-market activities, sales training, and demand generation programs.
· Develop alignment and integration with other marketing functions and product groups to create more complete customer offerings.
· Assess go-to-market requirements, developing recommendations for product direction, establishing market awareness plans and strategies, producing sales enablement tools and marketing collateral.
· Maintain current information about competitive offerings and ongoing competitive positioning.
· Take a global approach to product marketing to help drive awareness and market growth in all relevant geographies.
EDUCATION & SKILLS
· Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or related field required.
· 4-7 years Marketing experience in high tech preferred.
· Knowledge of customer communications management, variable data publishing, and/or enterprise content management required.
· Demonstrated success in executing B2B demand generation programs.
· Ability to interface with all levels of the organization including the executive management team as well as internal and external customers, press, and industry analysts.
· Ability to develop and drive a complete go-to-market plan with a focus on first-class execution.
· Experience in all aspects of inbound and outbound marketing activities.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
· Ability to influence others to achieve results.
· Experience working with a field organization and/or partner channel.
