Reporting and Data Analyst

The offices of Information Technology Services and Institutional Research are spearheading a project to convert all existing business intelligence reports using student data to a different platform.  There are immediate openings for a couple OPS or time-limited positions that are projected to be operational for the next 12 months.  These positions can be full-time or part-time.  Greater consideration will be given to applicants who can be full-time or near full-time.  Recent graduates and graduate students are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Technology-related disciplines.

Requirements:
•    Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
•    Experience in analyzing and compiling Information for reports
•    Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to accomplish goals.
•    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
•    Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
•    Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Preferred:  Knowledge of reporting with a Business Intelligence application (Business Objects, Oracle Business Intelligence, Cognos, etc.).

Schedule: Schedule is M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Other Information:  This position requires a police background check and compliance with University Policy OP-F-7 on “Safeguarding of Confidential Financial and Personal Information.”

Responsibilities: Candidate will be responsible for analyzing data needs of various offices on campus to developing Business Intelligence reports to meet those needs.
