Develop a set of component assemblies to be used in a c# .net application for view and decode multiple live MPEG2 and MPEG4 h.264 AVC audio and video streams. The MPEG4 streams are usually field based but we also have frame based applications. In all cases, the stream is a transport stream, over UDP protocol and contains both audio and video content. The video resolutions include standard definition SD and high definition HD up to 1080p.
The component assemblies will be able to render 16 simultaneous streams on one PC. A secondary phase will provide the abilities to save all streamed content simultaneously or individually without live view rendering. The saved file will be a raw dump of the transport stream and do not need to be transcode when saving; however the audio and video must be able to be played back in VLC or equivalent player.
The component assemblies will handle all the network, stream and decode task, will still maintaining superior performance and exceptional stream based error handling.
