SEO SEM Analyst (Atlanta)

POSITION PURPOSE –
Search Marketing, provides analytics using various tools and reporting to uncover trends and provide insights to maximize HomeDepot.com online marketing efforts. Works with the Online Marketing, Merchandising and Marketing Divisions. Web Analyst, Search, will monitor online marketing programs, identify opportunities for optimizing campaigns and proactively alert the team when programs deviate from expected results. Discovers underperforming areas; identifies opportunities to improve campaign and overall program performance. Works with various business teams to establish a cross-channel analytics and processes to optimize the navigational paths customers take to complete an order on HomeDepot.com. Use this information to recommend improvements that help customers choose the online channel to meet their needs. Researches and analyzes business trends and customer behavior data to identify opportunities for website enhancements and new internet marketing initiatives. Analyzes and understands the key drivers of performance related to Homedepot.com’s online objectives. Analyzes and provides insight on the HomeDepot.com website(s) traffic and conversion. The Web Analysts provides weekly Web Analytic dashboards to Management.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES –
25% Monitors Campaign performance

25% Work with Project Managers providing analytical insight on business performance

25% Researches and analyzes trends & performance data to identify opportunities for program improvements and enhancements

25% Executes daily operations of Search Marketing Campaigns

NATURE AND SCOPE –
Reports to Manager, Interactive Marketing – Search

No direct responsibility for supervising others.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS –
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Prior Business Analyst exposure

Google Advertising Professional preferred

Experience using Omniture Adobe SiteCatalyst, Omniture SearchCenter, Google Ad Words, MSN Ad Center, Keyword Research Tools or Search Monitor

Retail or Online experience
