Star Struck: Childrens Literature Written by Celebrities, April 22

Dr. Rebecca Hunt from Wayne State University will present her research at the final College of Information Brown Bag Lunch on Wednesday, April 22 from 12:00-1:00 in Room 206, LSB. Her talk is entitled Star Struck: Children’s Literature Written by Celebrities.

 

Dr. Hunt has been a senior lecturer at Wayne State University since 2007. She is also the practicum coordinator and the co-director of the Children’s and Youth Services and School Library Media programs. Prior to joining the LIS faculty in 2007, Rebecca D. Hunt served as Assistant Professor in the College of Education at Marygrove College in Detroit, MI and as a school library media specialist and principal in Toledo (OH) schools. Her research interests include media literacy, adolescent literacy, urban libraries, children and teen literature, and K-12 education policy.
