Research by Stvilia, Jorgensen and Wu in this month's Library and Information Science Research

An article by FSU-SLIS’s Drs. Besiki Stvilia, Corinne Jörgensen, and doctoral student Shuheng Wu, Establishing the value of socially-created metadata to image indexing, appears in the current issue of the journal Library and Information Science Research [Stvilia, B., Jörgensen, C., and Wu, S. Library & Information Science Research, Vol. 34, No. 2. (April 2012), pp. 99-109, doi:10.1016/j.lisr.2011.07.011].

Drs. Stvilia and Jörgensen recently appeared in the journal’s “Most Cited Library & Information Science Research Articles.” Their article, User-generated collection-level metadata in an online photo-sharing system , was included in the most cited articles since 2007 along with those by several other SLIS faculty members.
