On Jan. 14, the Board of Trustees of the Florida State University approved the change of our name from the School of Information Studies to the College of Information. The name change reflects the continual expansion of scope in our field, as it extends from traditional research areas of information studies to areas created by new technologies. The name change also means that we will be making modifications to various aspects of the College’s (formerly the School’s) website, email addresses, signs, stationery, publications, etc. Please stay tuned for future updates.
