Lifted Media Group LLC is a few weeks away from launching an interactive sports media website that will revolutionize the way sports fans interact and communicate with their sports content. Potential applicants will be provided an opportunity to get involved with a website covering the NFL/NBA/NCAA with a massive following, in its grassroots stages, possibly opening doors for future positions within the company.

Content Producer Internship
Lifted Media Group is looking to create one of the web’s largest sports social media networks primarily focusing on the NBA, NFL, NCAA D1 basketball, and NCAA D1 football. We are looking for interns that are able keep up with the sports world, write and program breaking news, commentary, and analysis on basketfootball.com’s updated website.

Required skills/experience:

  • Possess strong writing and communication skills.  Editing skills/experience is a plus; formal background is not required.
  • Sports fanatic with a strong understanding of NCAA football and basketball, the NFL, and the NBA.
  • The candidate is well-versed in the world of Internet sports. Checking blogs, monitoring major sports sites, and contributing to team specific forums are all examples of activities an ideal candidate would perform on a daily basis.
  • Social media understanding. Candidate should have high proficiency using Twitter, Facebook, mobile apps, and tablets.
  • Current undergrad student or above. (< 3.0 GPA)

Work requirements:
Intern must be able to work from home, on the computer, and have a flexible work schedule (the sports world never sleeps).

Compensation:
Four month unpaid internship. (School credit applicable)
Those who excel in the position will be considered for full-time employment. Basketfootball.com receives 10’s of thousands of unique visits a day, therefore selected applicants’ work will gain exposure from an extremely large audience.

Start date/Application deadline:
We are looking for our interns to start work once the new website launches (mid August).
