Paul Jaeger Receives FSU Academic Leadership Award

College of Information doctoral student Paul Jaeger has been chosen to receive a 2005 FSU Academic Leadership Award. The award honors students for exemplary academic performance, university service, and other contributions in and out of the classroom.

As one nominator stated, Paul is “a stellar scholar, has made significant research contributions, takes a leadership role in assisting other doctoral students, is a ‘good citizen’ around the College and with other students, and his work in the Information Institute is that of a tenured faculty member-and is simply superlative.”

Within the last three years, Paul has written and published (or has had accepted for publication) 18 refereed research papers, six book chapters, and three books. Despite this prodigious and highly impressive publication record, Paul’s demeanor is modest, congenial and supportive of his colleagues.

Paul will be presented with a certificate signed by the Provost and Vice President of Student Affairs at Leadership Awards Night on April 7. We congratulate him and thank him for helping to foster a rich learning environment within the College.
