The Florida State University College of Information is hosting a meeting of the Big Bend RHIO (Regional Health Information Organization) and the state Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). The topic of discussion is health information exchange in our region. Specifically, we would like to explore concerns on health records exchange, privacy and security. The proposed CI Center for Health Informatics is interested in hearing your input on the health information exchange process and the use of Personal Health Records. Join us Monday November 19, 2007 from 4:00 – 5:30 PM for a lively discussion on the status and future plans for electronic health information exchange in Tallahassee and Florida. The meeting will be held at the FSU College of Information, Shores Building, Gregory Conference Room (Located through the Goldstein Library on the main Floor of Shores Building.
