Job Description: Seasonal Game Day Operations Intern

Organization: Minnesota Twins Spring Training and Fort Myers Miracle

Reports to: Community Relations Manager

Summary
Members of our Intern program, known as our “Street Team”, will have a full opportunity to learn and endeavor in many of our ballpark operations. The Street Team will assist in Game Day operations such as:

  • Ticket Sales
  • Guest Services
  • In game/On field promotions
  • Food and Beverage
  • Marketing and Promotions
  • Opportunities in Broadcasting/Media
  • Team Store/Merchandise
  • Community Relations

Students are required to be earning college credit while fulfilling their internship duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Providing the highest level of customer service
2. Honesty in all aspects of the operation
3. Exemplary attendance
4. Constructive communication with other team members and managers
5. Compliance with all team policies
6. Compliance with uniform/appearance standards
7. Working efficiently through time management
8. Contributing to a safe and secure work environment for coworkers/patrons
9. Taking initiative (there is always something to be done)
10. Having pride and respect for the stadium and it’s history
11. Always bringing a positive attitude
Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in college earning credit while being a member of the Street Team
