The Harriet F. Ginsburg Health Sciences Library, University of Central Florida, College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida is seeking applicants for a team-oriented, technology-embracing User Services Librarian. This is an entry-level, non-tenure track faculty position. The successful candidate will work with the Public Services Librarian in developing and implementing a marketing plan for library public services, and will provide reference and instructional support to health sciences library patrons. The successful candidate will also provide literature search assistance, manage circulation desk activities, track usage and reference statistics, and troubleshoot basic technology issues.
Required: ALA-accredited master’s degree in library science (MLS or MLIS). Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP) certification required within three years of hire.
Preferred: One year experience working in a health sciences or medical library, including paraprofessional positions.
