Job Summary
The Academic Program Specialist (Job ID: 57289) is responsible for overseeing the evening operations in the ACE Learning Studio, a tutoring and academic support center at Florida State University. The evening supervisor provides program support to the ACE Learning Studio, conducts closing procedures, manages staff schedules, as well as the check-in, room reservations, and group sessions. The evening supervisor also leads the marketing and outreach efforts of the ACE Learning Studio, creating promotional materials, maintaining social media accounts, and coordinating with campus partners. Additionally, this position organizes and implements weekly group tutoring sessions, orders and maintains supplies and equipment, and develops and follows emergency procedures for the safety of the facility.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education of experience equal to six years.

· Ability to demonstrate excellent organization, attention to details, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and faculty.
· Ability to work with people calmly, objectively, and confidentially.
· Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Experience using social media platforms and simple graphic design programs.
· Basic understanding of university policies, academic processes, and student resources
Schedule
· This position works Sunday – Thursdays from 1pm to 9pm (off Fridays and Saturdays).
