Public Relations student Alyssa Croft presented “Words in Big Business: How Scienceploitation has Invaded Consumer Society” at the President’s Showcase of Undergraduate Research Excellence on October 10, 2024. The presentation was the culmination of 10 months of work on the project, made possible by an IDEA Grant Croft received last March.

College of Communication and Information Hosts Fall 2024 Career Fair

On October 8, 2024, The College of Communication and Information (CCI) hosted its semesterly career fair. Held at the Florida State University (FSU) Alumni Center, the College welcomed over 21 companies from around the Tallahassee community and over 120 students. Students who attended had the opportunity to connect with potential employers and recruiters about internships and job opportunities, many of which begin as early as the upcoming spring semester.

SCOM Student Awarded Jay Rayburn Scholarship
