Stephen McDowell,  associate dean of academic affairs at Florida State University’s College of Communication & Information, delivered a talk to students at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Dalian University of Technology in Dalian, China on June 18.

McDowell, the John H. Phipps Professor of Communication in the School of Communication, presented the topic “Adoption of New Technology: Looking at 3D Television Research,” which was co-authored by Andy Ellis.

During his visit to China, McDowell also spoke and chaired a panel discussion entitled “Digital Mega, 3D Movie/TV Program.”  The panel was part of the BIT 2nd Annual World Congress of Cultural and Creative IT Industries at the Dalian World EXPO Center.
