FSU-SLIS alumnus Kenneth J. Hirsh (MSLIS ’89) has been elected to the executive board of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). He is director of the law library and information technology and professor of practice at the College of Law, University of Cincinnati.
Hirsh has a history of leadership with both the AALL and the Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI), leading organizations in his field. He is a former president of the southeast chapter of the AALL (2007–2008) and currently serves as secretary of CALI and a member of its board of directors. The AALL named a distinguished service award for him in 2004.
