CCI’s alumni are constantly making us proud and Ashley Dias (’12, B.S. Information, Communication, and Technology) is no different. She was named one of Automotive News’ 40 Under 40 for 2020. The publication discusses top news in the automotive industry and this feature highlights 40 individuals who have made significant contributions to their companies and to the field.
Ashley Dias secured her spot on this list with her creation of AutoNation Inc.’s text messaging program. Ashley pioneered this innovative marketing initiative which has resulted in more than 1,000 vehicle sales and 56,000 service repair orders. She also designed and launched a marketing program with popular navigation app, Waze. You can read more about her impressive work here.
Ashley started her journey at AutoNation a little over 4 years ago as an Email Marketing Specialist. She is now a Customer Marketing Manager where she focuses on email marketing, SMS marketing, direct mail marketing, and some digital marketing. While at FSU, Ashley studied information technology which has given her a unique advantage in her position. “The ICT program is something I hold dear to me. It blended the things that I love and helped me hone those skills,” she says. “I was able to easily understand the technical side of it as well as the marketing and communications aspects that others were not able to grasp so easily.” She uses this technical knowledge to help create well-rounded campaigns and functional marketing tools.
Congratulations, Ashley, for being recognized by AutoNation and Automotive News for your incredible contributions.
