Convocation is Tomorrow!

Come eat, come network, come celebrate the accomplishments of our students, faculty, and staff at the Annual Convocation & Homecoming Celebration on November 15. A hearty breakfast fit for a beautiful, Florida fall day will be provided by the School.

Following breakfast, John N. Berry III, editor in chief of Library Journal will deliver the 2003 Lazerow Lecture entitled “Who are the Patriots Anyway?: The U.S. Patriot Act and the Public Library Mission.”

After the lecture, Dr. Anna H. Perrault, known for her award winning bibliometric research, will be presented with the School’s 2003 Distinguished Alumna Award. Convocation will continue with presentations to distinguished students, faculty and staff. Dress is casual and neat; faculty: full regalia.

There will be a webcast of the Convocation Ceremony beginning at 10:00 a.m. A link will appear on the School’s homepage ten minutes before then. The webcast will include the opening processional, Assistant Professor Gary Burnett’s welcome, and John N. Berry III’s 2003 Lazerow Lecture.
