School of Communication Associate Professor Jonathan Adams has been selected to receive The Florida State University Spiritual Life Project Transformation Through Teaching Award on Nov. 5 at President Barron’s home.

The Spiritual Life Project works to celebrate evidence of meaning, purpose and authenticity within the FSU community. Transformation Through Teaching is a recognition designed to honor full-time faculty who have had an intellectual, inspirational, and integrative impacts on the lives.
Undergraduate senior Benjamin Horbowy (Sociology/Psychology) nominated Adams for the award after participating in the FSU – 3 Day Startup entrepreneurial event on March 16–18. Adams organized the event, which Horbowy felt changed his life.
