College of Communication and Information (CCI) Associate Dean Ebe Randeree was presented with a “Leadership and Dedication” award at the TalTech Conference on November 13, 2024.
The award read, “In tribute to your many years of leadership and dedication advancing technology and education in our community.” Randeree has worked with the TalTech Alliance for 18 years and served as a board member for five. He was presented the award by Bryan Gibson, who is the Vice Chairman of the TalTech Alliance.
“It was a pleasure and honor to present the award to Ebe. Being able to recognize someone for their contributions is important and reflects a commitment to organizational excellence through individual accomplishments. In all of this time, Ebe has always stepped up and executed without question or complaint. He serves as a model Board member and colleague,” Gibson stated.

Together, the two aim to strengthen the technology ecosystem in the Capital Region by creating technology jobs, providing experiential learning opportunities for students, and connecting with alumni in the local tech workforce. CCI aids in supporting local conferences, hosting workshops, and building a network that includes TalTech, Launch Tally, the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, Florida Technology Council (FTC,) and many local employers.
Randeree said “Receiving this award was a surprise and an honor. The award reinforces my commitment to building bridges between education, government, and business to create opportunities in Tallahassee for our University and our students and alumni.” He additionally expressed gratitude for those involved in TalTech leadership who share his passion for fostering innovation and technology-driven partnerships that benefit the community.
