Library Employers Forum on April 27

Florida State University and the School of Information Studies are hosting the Library Employers Forum on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. in Room 311E of the FSU Oglesby Union. Representatives from the FSU and Florida A&M Libraries, Leon County Public Library, Pasco Library System, Orlando County Library System, and others will be available to talk to students about employment opportunities at their institutions.

Employers will have 15-20 minutes to present an organizational overview and tips for achieving success in education, the job search process, and employment in the library field. The forum, which will be videotaped and made available to distance students in the library studies program at the School of Information Studies, will conclude with a brief Q&A session.

The Library Employers Forum is being held following the FSU Education and Library Career Exposition, scheduled earlier on April 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the FSU Union Ballrooms. Additional information can be found at http://www.career.fsu.edu/.
