Mardis to chair NSF digital library accessioning board

Dr. Marcia Mardis, assistant professor at the CCI School of Library & Information Studies has been asked to chair the first National Science Foundation (NSF) National STEM Digital Library (NSDL) National Accessioning Board (NAB).

The board has been created to insure that NSDL collections meet the criteria prescribed by their policy. It  will review and approve collections for accessioning (acceptance) and deaccessioning (pruning).
