Faculty member Nancy Everhart will be at the School of Information Studies’ booth at the Florida Educational Technology Conference (FETC) from Wednesday, Jan. 26 through Friday, January 28. Held at the Orange County Convention Center’s North-South Complex, the conference provides a wonderful opportunity for our current students, alumni and prospective students to meet with faculty to discuss the School and its programs.
The FETC is one of the largest conferences in the US devoted to educational technology, “designed so educators and administrators have an opportunity to learn how to integrate different technologies across the curriculum – from kindergarten to college – while being exposed to the latest hardware, software and successful strategies on student technology use.” The conference offers workshops, presentations, and distinguished speakers. This year’s keynote speaker is Florida author, Carl Hiaasen. For more information about the conference, go to http://www.fetc.org/.
