College of Communication and Information’s School of Information welcomes a new faculty member for the Fall 2014 semester.

Chris Landbeck (Assistant Director of Experiential Learning) has accepted a new position within CCI as Assistant Director of Experiential Learning. He has a Ph.D. in Library and Information Sciences from Florida State University. He serves as the Immediate Past Chair of the ASIS&T SIG Cabinet and the Past Chair of SIGVIS.

“I am so pleased that Dr. Chris Landbeck has joined us as the Assistant Director of Experiential Learning. His knowledge of our iSchool, our curricula, our students, and the surrounding experiential learning opportunities will be a huge benefit to the education we are able to offer,” said Dr. Michelle Kazmer, Professor and Associate Director at Florida State’s School of Information.
