Dr. Ulla Bunz, Associate Professor in the School of Communication, has been promoted to Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Communication and Information (CCI).

Bunz joined the faculty in 2005 under the former College of Communication.

“It is a wonderful opportunity to find ways to help more people,” said Bunz. “Weaving your way through FSU policy can be daunting at times. After many years of facilitating these processes in my own school, the School of Communication, I will now be able to work with staff, faculty, and students from across the College to make things run smoother and improve everybody’s academic life.”

Dr. Michelle Kazmer, Dean of CCI, added, “I am truly pleased to be welcoming Dr. Bunz into the newly created role of Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs in our college. She brings clarity of thought and creativity to every endeavor and I’m thrilled to see the College of Communication and Information grow in fresh directions with her in this new role on our leadership team.”
