I-CELTIC announces student awards

The Interdisciplinary Center for Leadership, Technology Integration, and Critical Literacies (I-CELTIC) has announced the winners of two doctoral research grants and a summer doctoral research fellowship. Each grant of up to $500 is awarded to support a doctoral student’s research; the fellowship helps support a doctoral student whose research is compatible with the I-CELTIC vision and mission.

“We are proud to announce that Annette Goldsmith (College of Information) and JeongMin Lee (College of Education) are our grant winners” said Dr. Eliza T. Dresang, founding director of I-CELTIC, ” and that Kyungwon Koh (College of Information) is our fellowship awardee. It is a pleasure to have students of their caliber working with us on research that we expect to make a positive difference in learning outcomes.

I-CELTIC is a joint effort of the FSU College of Information, College of Education, and the Learning Systems Institute. It is funded by a five-year grant from the FSU Office of Research, supplemented by the College of Information. A mini-symposium and reception celebrating I-CELTIC’s launch is scheduled for June 19 from 2- 5 p.m. at the FSU Research Foundation, Building A, in Tallahassee.
