We would like to welcome you back to your fall 2013 term at Florida State and for some, your first fall term. In anticipation of advising concerns that you may have regarding your fall schedule, we would like to inform you about our walk-in hours:

Week of August 19th-22nd
Monday & Tuesday, 9:00am-3:30pm
Wednesday & Thursday, 9:00am-1:00pm

Week of August 26th- 29th (drop/add)
Monday through Thursday, 9:00am-3:30pm

The appointment system will resume after the 29th of August.

Do not call to make an appointment during this time frame. Our office is located in University Center C in suite 4115 in the stadium. Please keep in mind that there may be a wait.

IF YOU WANT TO MEET WITH AN ADVISOR, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR FSUID CARD and KNOW YOUR FSUSN.
Please keep the following dates in mind:

Saturday, August 24 – Drop/add registration begins at 8:00am
Monday, August 26 – 1st day of classes. The application window opens for fall 2013 graduation.
Thursday, August 29 – Last day to Drop/Add and have fees adjusted. Students are liable for all fees for courses still on their schedules at midnight.

Please also remember that attendance at the first class meeting for all your classes is mandatory. Students who do not attend the first class meeting of a course for which they are registered will be dropped by the academic department that offers the class. This policy applies to all levels of courses, including online courses. However, do not use nonattendance as a mechanism to drop a course.
