by Bob Branciforte

Recent School of Library & Information Studies alumna, Sharla Lair (MSLIS, ’10), has been selected by the American Library Association for their 2011 Class of Emerging Leaders. The program enables a group of approximately 100 library workers from throughout the U.S. to get on the fast track to ALA and professional leadership. Participants are given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, network with peers and get an inside look into the ALA structure and activities. As part of this program, Sharla will attend both the ALA 2011 Midwinter Meeting in San Diego as well as the 2011 Annual Conference in New Orleans.
