iSchool Leadership Awards taking nominations

iSchool Leadership Awards

The FSU School of Information recognizes graduating students for their exceptional academic performance and exemplary leadership in University, College or School student groups, projects or events with special consideration for their contributions inside and outside the classroom. Nominations are being accepted for students who exhibit strong leadership skills through such activities as peer mentoring, teaching, research, publishing, creative work, service, and/or participation in professional association activities. Students selected for one of the Leadership Awards will be recognized at College of Communication & Information Honors Recognition Ceremony & Reception in the Spring.

iSchool Service Awards

The FSU School of Information recognizes students graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology who have made service an integral part of their college experience through their significant contributions to the community or the university. Two awards will be given to outstanding students who have devoted their time and talents to meaningful service activities and have demonstrated their continued engagement with and commitment to service. Names of exceptional nominees will also be included in the list of possible nominees to represent the College of Communication and Information for the President’s Humanitarian Award.

Students may self-nominate themselves for the iSchool Service Awards.

All nominations should be received by Feb. 13, 2015.
