Advertising & Internet Graduate Resident

Strong communication and analytical skills are necessary. Applicants with graduate coursework in marketing communications, as well as an interest in pursuing a career in marketing and tourism, are encouraged to apply each semester. The position, located in Tallahassee, requires a minimum of 25 hours per week for a minimum of 15 weeks (12 during the summer) and only open to students seeking a graduate degree.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with current/new project development:
•Participate in scheduled and day-to-day communications with advertising and internet agencies
•Proof copy and creative for direct marketing and cooperative advertising efforts
•Assist vice president of brand, advertising manager, internet manager and marketing representative with current/new project development
•Assist with customer segment profiles by conducting secondary research
•Assist with VISIT FLORIDA’s social media marketing to consumers
Aggregate and summarize advertising measures:
•Compile existing tracking of unique URLs and identify trends, strengths, weaknesses of current programs
•Analyze electronic direct marketing campaign and identify ways to improve upon the program
•Further integrate marketing communication efforts
