Twitter is a fast-growing company and our Business Operations group is looking for a summer intern to help us scale and improve internal company processes and operations by analyzing data and proposing solutions. This is a highly cross-functional position – including collaborating with teams such as HR, Engineering, Finance, IT, Facilities, new hire onboarding, Communications and our management and Senior Staff teams – perfect for a future entrepreneur interested in learning how to build a fast moving, efficient company. If you’re a proactive problem solver who enjoys analyzing data and excels at making things better, then this role is for you. This is a full-time internship based in San Francisco. 

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data across a number of groups, including HR employee and recruiting pipeline data.
• Work with engineering to improve our dashboards to automate the visualization of such data
• Propose programs or other solutions to solve problems unearthed through data analysis
• Help design, organize and manage focus groups amongst employees to identify and solve problems in the company.
• Various other one-off projects that come up in this fast-moving environment.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Experience in analyzing large datasets using tools like MySQL and Excel
• Go-getter and driven in a dynamic work environment
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Active user of Twitter
