CareerSource Capital Region (CSCR) is a non-profit, regional workforce board located in Tallahassee that connects employers with qualified, skilled talent and Floridians with employment and career development opportunities to achieve economic prosperity.
A large portion of CSCR’s success rests on effectively providing solutions to its business and career seeker clients. To support the Marketing and Communications Department, CSCR is seeking a dynamic intern who wants an intern experience that will aid his/her long-term professional development. A stipend is included with this position; amount to be discussed further in interview.
This hands-on internship will give the selected candidate the opportunity to be creative and utilize technical skills to increase digital audiences. CareerSource Capital Region is looking for a self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative and be proactive.

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate w/ a junior or senior classification (Information, Communication, and Technology major preferred) or graduate-level student
Familiarity with search engine optimization of websites and Google Ad Word campaigns
Familiarity with website design, including HTML coding
Highly organized with strong attention to detail in order to monitor and measure for SEO success
Strong communicator
GPA of 3.0 or greater
Criminal background screen required
Duties:
Collaborate with social media team to align SEO strategies regarding content creation and programming
Source keywords for blogs, press releases, social status updates, and campaign needs
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
Work with the marketing team to implement and deploy strategy plans
Utilize Google Analytics and webmaster tools to track progress
Examine user feedback, personas, and data to isolate root-causes of where users may be getting stuck in the customer-journey
