Responsibilities
The digitization assistant will be responsible for developing a digital archive of correspondence from the founder of the Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies, Dr. James J. O’Brien. The assistant will be responsible for creating the layout of the site as well as scanning the documents.
Qualifications
Must have experience with content management systems and be enrolled as a student in an appropriate area of specialization. Appropriate areas of specialization include communication, information technology, computer science, or library studies. Excellent organizational skills are required. Ability to work independently and strong critical thinking skills are essential.

Anticipated Salary Range
Anticipated salary rate is $10/hour
Schedule
Ten hours per week, depending on employee’s schedule and employer’s needs, between 7:30am and
5:30pm.
Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include
fingerprinting.
