Aegis Business Technologies is an MSP (managed services provider) in Tallahassee, Florida founded in 1997. Our core business is providing technical support for organizations of any size.

We procure, install and support: servers, workstations, mobile devices, cloud solutions, wireless networks, security products, data backup protocols, as well as provide website and application development. If you are a 3 person law office or a 200 person medical facility, we can be your complete IT department or your occasional supplemental support resource. We offer 24-7 monitoring of your network, on-site support, a full time help desk, after hours support and a Microsoft licensed procurement agent to assist with new purchases.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and creative person to assist our CEO and Management Team with organization, event planning, marketing, and logistics. This could include on any given day assisting our consultants with transporting technical gear to a client site, assisting with marketing events and branding, social posts, events, and apparel design. Also, to include customer service projects, community service engagements and all company logistics

Responsibilities:

Assist the CEO with all daily activities.

– Plan events, assist with phones, coordinate sponsorships while learning the business of a local technology company.

– Edit and proofread new columns and podcast (Aegis Biz & Tech Podcast) roadmaps.

– Plan events including conferences, lunches and holiday parties.

– Coordinate a monthly newsletter with our sales team.

Qualifications:

– Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant program (communications, media, marketing, etc.).

– Strong written and verbal communication skills.

– Familiarity with podcast production and editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition).

– Proficiency in social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
