POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES

Position functions as an administrative and research assistant for the CSWG. Responsible for conducting research regarding potential advocacy or women-related issues in the community, drafting meeting agendas and recording meeting minutes for each committee and full commission meetings. Assists with planning and coordination of events alongside the CSWG Director and special events coordinator. This includes networking events, retreats, meetings and socials for members of the CSWG. Creates captions and graphics for social media, website, and email newsletter, staying up to date with events in town and relevant awareness months/weeks/days pertaining to women and girls issues.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

● Proficient with computer skills using office software such as Word, Excel, Canva, Google Suite, etc.

● Proficient with social media platforms such as Facebook Meta, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

● Self-sufficient and take initiative on projects and tasks independently.

● Eager to learn, grow, and work together in a team environment.
