Internship Opportunity with a leading fundraising consulting firm serving nonprofit organizations
Summary of Internship Activities
- Research articles, templates and resources for client related projects
- Assist Stansbury Consulting with writing and teaching assignments:
- Research topics for weekly newspaper column “Notes on Nonprofits”
- Identify/write content for Fundraising Tip of the Month
- Prospect & client stewardship: review Tallahassee Democrat Chronicle publication and other newspapers for client news, prepare correspondence
- Research and identify teaching and training opportunities for Stansbury Consulting (i.e. national nonprofit conferences that come to FL, etc.). Assist with marketing opportunities.
- Compile case studies of client projects for promotional purposes
- Accompany Consultant(s) to client/prospect meetings and events with nonprofit organizations as needed and appropriate
- Catalog “Notes on Nonprofits” column by date, topic, etc.
- Other projects as identified and agreed to by Intern and Stansbury Consulting
Hours: 5 to 10 hours per week August – December 2014
