Job Description:

The Help Desk at City of Tallahassee functions as remote end user support to employees of the City. Some duties include technical troubleshooting, providing a pleasant customer service experience, password resets, and communicating technical problems effectively. Interns will work in a professional setting within City Hall and are responsible for documenting and troubleshooting technical problems users may be experiencing.

Required Qualifications:

* Current student at a university having:

* Completed at least 30 hours of coursework

* Provide your own transportation to and from work

* Majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Recommended Qualifications:

* Comfortable with Windows 7 and Windows XP operating systems

* Familiarity with HP and Dell hardware

* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

* Customer Service Experience

* Troubleshooting Experience

Other Information:

* Averages 10 hours per week

* Paid Internship

* Pay is $11/hr

* Hours of Operation: 7:30AM-5:30PM, M-F

* Hours are flexible with class schedule

* Student can stay in the internship until they graduate
