The Zimmerman Agency is looking for an unpaid intern to assist with IT. The intern will report directly to the Help Desk Technician. This internship offers the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge regarding information technology in a Mac based environment.
Internship ResponsibilitieZ:
• Provide support for over 135 employees across multiple platforms (Mac OS X, Windows, iOS)
• Assist Help Desk Technician with problem tickets
• Documentation of processes and finding improvement possibilities
• Software / Hardware research (e.g. acquiring new hardware or software, other IT needs and possibilities)
• Setting up machines for new hire deployment
• Assist Help Desk Technician with maintaining backups for all company data
Internship RequirementZ:
• Ability to intern through fall semester
• Minimum of 15 hours per week with a consistent schedule
• Technical writing, communication, and customer service skills
• Professional performance in terms of conduct, timeliness and deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and work quickly. Z is a fast-paced environment; we need someone that can keep up!
• Knowledge of Mac hardware and software (OS X Lion, Snow Leopard/Lion Server, iOS) is not a requirement, but a plus! We are a Mac-based network and company
