Position Description:
FSU’s College of Communication and Information (CCI) is seeking a versatile paid intern to join the College’s Communication Team 10-20 hrs/week in the Summer 2022 semester. CCI offers an immersive experience designed to give students real-world experience, valuable skills, and a core portfolio.
Interns can expect to craft narratives for online, print, and social media about faculty, College events, research, alumni, and students. Additionally, interns will assist the College’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator with producing digital and print material for a wide variety of needs. Interns will gain experience strategizing social media posts, promoting events, and professionally corresponding with alumni.
CCI holds interns to the same standards as full-time staff and encourages a “hands-on” approach. Interns will have their own work load and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Strong writing and editing skills required; experience with social media preferred. High-level organization and communication skills are a must.
