Multi-Media Production Intern @ Florida Technology Council

Florida Technology Council is seeking an intern to assist in the production and editing of podcasts. This role consists of shooting, sound, and editing podcasts, as well as providing insight at weekly team meetings to continue the organization’s growth. This intern should be a college student who resides in Tallahassee Florida. We are passionate about serving and developing Florida’s Technology sector. It is our intention to further our mission though hosting state agency, business, and legislative leaders on this podcast. Our ideal intern is passionate in the areas of podcasts, technology, and legislative aid. Headquarters reside in Tallahassee. Interns will be working with Marketing Director Courtney Webb; Business Membership and Events Director Janet Worthman; and CEO, James Taylor.

Responsibilities Include:
● Coordinating the production workflow of podcasts
● Assisting in the promotion of podcasts
● Executing the production of podcasts episodes including shooting, sound, and editing of the content in a timely manner
● Understanding the key audience of podcasts to drive engagement
● Providing insights on how to increase quality and productivity

Skills & Experience:
● Strong proficiency with podcasts and digital media
● Enthusiastic communicator with strong follow-through skills
● Excellent interpersonal skills
● Must be a current college student located in Tallahassee and available to work at headquarters across from the Capitol
● Editing experience and familiarity with digital editing software
● Familiarity with video podcasting
