One public relations or communications student to participate in our brand-new internship program

Requirements:

Attend the monthly board meetings (first Tuesday of every month)
Attend various other after-hours events

Description:

This is a non-traditional internship that can be served from the comfort of your own home
Unpaid position, it can count towards course credit
Work hand and hand with the communications chair and would cover event planning, media relations and internal communications

(2) Public Relations Intern ? General

Seeking public relations intern for 10-15 hours a week for locally owned public relations/marketing firm representing small business and non-profit clients. Duties include researching/contacting media outlets (online, print, tv & radio), copy writing and other related media and public relations duties, including staffing media events. Must have prior writing experience/examples.  Social media, television and radio experience a plus.  Ideally candidate would be available this semester and through Legislative Session (January 2012-March 2012). (3) Public Relations/Marketing Intern ? Fitness Festival

Seeking public relations intern for 10-15 hours a week specifically for the 2012 Tallahassee Fitness Festival, organized by a The Fleming Agency/Eventions.  Duties include assisting in social media, copy writing and other related pr/marketing duties, including being a liaison between organization team, vendors and media.  Must be available to staff the event set up and day of (January 21-22, 2012).
