Hemsworth is seeking part-time or full-time Public Relations and Social Media interns for the spring 2026 semester. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a boutique-sized, award-winning agency with global reach, representing exciting hotels, resorts, destinations, restaurants, wine & spirits brands, cruise lines and more.
Public Relations Intern – What you’ll be doing:
- Research industry news, trends and competitor activity
- Assist with drafting tailored pitches and identifying targeted journalists/outlets
- Support press release drafting for timely announcements as you gain experience
- Participate in team brainstorms to develop story angles and creative campaigns
- Assist with logistics for client events, media visits, press trips, or campaign activations
- Monitor daily media coverage and track earned placements for client reports
Social Media Intern – What you’ll be doing:
- Brainstorm creative concepts for social media calendars
- Create graphics (prior Canva experience is a bonus but not necessary)
- Conduct influencer research to support campaigns and activations
- Assist with social scheduling and content organization
- Monitor and share trending social concepts and ideas
- Assist with coordination of influencer visits including itinerary development
