Property Appraiser Fellowships at Leon County Property Appraisers

The Leon County Property Appraisers Office is currently seeking and is highly motivated to hire for their paid Property Appraiser Fellowships.  Although these positions may seem like it would be for only a subset of our students, they have opportunities for many of our majors. This is an excellent paid work experience and training ground for students in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Real Estate, etc.; and offers $12/hr OPS positions for 20hrs/wk for Fall and Spring Semesters and up to 29hrs/wk for Summer Semester in the following categories:

  Urban and Regional Planning (2 positions). One with GIS experience and one specializing in Land-Use or Community Development.

Public Administration (1 position).

Business Administration (1 or 2 positions) specializing in Real Estate and/or Property Appraisal.

Architecture, Communications, or other related fields (1 position) with experience/interest in 3D Rendering, Community Development, oral and graphic communications.

 

Preference will be given to graduate students, undergraduate juniors and seniors with relevant experience or aptitude and demonstrated interest in public service.

We are receiving applications from now through the first week of the Fall Semester, conclude selections no later than the end of the second week and work starts the third week or shortly thereafter.
