Spring and Summer Internship Opportunity: Forbes Books Presents Corporate Competitor Podcast Hosted By Longtime Associate Editor of Sports Illustrated’s Don Yaeger.
Among the guests interviewed by Don for episodes of Corporate Competitor: How Sports Shapes Today’s Business Icons have been former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and the CEOs of Disney, Delta Air Lines, Bank of America, KPMG, FanDuel, Chick-fil-A, Insight Enterprises, TopGolf, Mayo Clinic, and Ritz Carlton. We were named one of Podcast Magazine’s Top 50 Podcasts and Spotify Wrapped revealed we were in the top 5% most listened to podcasts in the world.
This internship is for class credit, unpaid, with opportunities to be hired part-time upon completion. Interns can be fully remote, but if possible are recommended to come into our Tallahassee office (located near Leon High School) once per month. Corporate Competitor Podcast’s internship is not tied to specific hours in the week; it is on a project basis. The average intern completes the project by spending 8-10 hours per week on their research. We are willing to work with the student, so the hours fit around their class/work schedule.
We are looking for students who are organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoy learning the stories of prominent leaders. The role will be called “Sports Research” and weekly duties include researching guests like: Ritz Carlton Co-Founder Horst Schulze who played soccer in Germany, and FanDuel CEO Amy Howe who was a competitive gymnast, then crafting a rough draft outline for Don’s interview on Corporate Competitor Podcast.
To apply, please submit the form at the bottom of this page. Interviews will be held via zoom in November. If you have questions, please email Savannah Gallagher savannah@greatnessinc.com
